The arrest of Mustafa Setmarian Nasar, aka Abu Musab al Suri, was announced this week. Nasar's capture has been known for months among counterterrorism insiders, but was only officially confirmed this week by Pakistani officials. Al-Suri is best known as a "pen jihadist," a writer of inspirational radical Islamist tracts, but he is also suspected of deep involvement in the London bombings of July 2005 and the Madrid bombing of March 2004.
